Small, opinionated, and slower than it could be
Snagsea is a curated list of genuine markdowns on everyday household things — kitchen, home, baby, beauty, toys and clothing. It is run by one person, not a company, and it posts a handful of deals a day rather than a feed of hundreds.
How a deal gets here
Deals come from public price-tracking feeds for Walmart and Amazon. Everything that arrives is filtered automatically, and then a human approves every single post by hand. Nothing reaches this site or our channels without someone looking at it and deciding it is worth your attention.
Before a deal is even offered for that decision, it has to clear:
- A real discount. At least 40% off. Not a routine 10–20% markdown dressed up as an event.
- Freshness. Price-drop feeds report drops that have already happened, and they keep listing a drop long after the price has gone back up. We reject anything whose drop is more than 12 hours old, because we cannot verify a price we did not just see.
- A price sanity check. Extreme discounts and suspiciously round prices are held back and re-checked later. If the price was a glitch and corrects in the meantime, the deal quietly disappears instead of being posted.
- Not an accessory. A replacement filter at 54% off is a real discount and not the deal you thought you were getting. Those are filtered out.
- No repeats. A deal you have already been shown will not come back around.
What we refuse to post
No adult products, no vapes, no weight-loss pills, no contraceptives — this is meant to be shareable in a family group chat. We also drop no-name marketplace listings whose “brand” is a string of random letters.
When a deal dies
Clearance prices do not last. Every published deal is re-checked on a schedule, and once it drops out of the source feed or its price is too old to stand behind, it is greyed out and marked expired rather than left up as a working link to a price that no longer exists. We keep the record visible instead of deleting it.
How we make money
Links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, a commission is earned — sometimes by us, sometimes by the deal partner whose feed surfaced the item — at no extra cost to you. That is disclosed on every deal, next to the link, not just here. See our terms and privacy policy.
It changes nothing about what gets posted. A deal is not chosen because it pays better, and we have no relationship with any brand that would let one buy its way onto the list.
