Privacy policy

Short, because there is not much to say

Snagsea does not collect personal data, set cookies, or run analytics. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no advertising scripts and no third-party trackers on this site. Nothing you do here is tied to you.

This is not a policy written aspirationally. The site is a set of static pages with no client-side tracking of any kind; the only script it loads is the code that renders the pages themselves.

What does get recorded

The site is hosted by Vercel, and like any web host their servers keep standard technical request logs — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and the time. That happens at the hosting layer for security and reliability, we do not query it to identify anyone, and we do not combine it with anything else. Vercel processes it under their own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Every “get this deal” link sends you to a retailer such as Walmart or Amazon, usually via an affiliate tracking redirect. Those links are how the site is funded, and this is disclosed on every deal.

Once you follow one, you are on someone else’s site. The retailer and the affiliate network will set their own cookies and may record that a visit came from us, so the retailer can attribute a sale. We receive only aggregate reporting from that — never your name, your email, your payment details, or what you looked at. Their privacy policies govern from the moment you click, and this one stops applying.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Rights of access, correction and deletion under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA apply to personal data a site holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. If you believe otherwise, email hello@snagsea.com and we will look into it.

For data the retailers or affiliate networks hold after you click through, you will need to contact them — we have no access to it and cannot act on their behalf.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting anything — analytics, for example — this page will say so before that happens, and the date below will change.
